Your recordings stay on your device
ScreenRec Pro records, edits and stores everything locally. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else unless you share it yourself.
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. ScreenRec Pro has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Your recordings, screenshots and settings are never uploaded to us. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
Permissions We Ask For
Each permission is used only for the feature described below, and only on your device.
- Screen capture: to record your screen and take screenshots. Android asks for your consent every time a recording starts.
- Microphone: to add your voice to a recording when you choose microphone audio.
- Device audio: to add the sound played by your device when you choose internal audio.
- Camera: to show your front camera in a small bubble so it appears in your recording. Camera footage is not saved separately.
- Notifications: to show the recording controls while a recording is in progress.
- Display over other apps: to show the floating controls and drawing tools on top of the app you are recording.
- Photos and media: to save recordings and screenshots to your gallery, and to pick an image you choose to add in the video editor.
How Your Recordings Are Stored
Recordings and screenshots are saved in the app's storage on your device, and a copy is saved to your device gallery.
You can delete any recording or screenshot from the Gallery tab at any time. Copies saved to your device gallery stay there until you delete them from your gallery app.
Uninstalling ScreenRec Pro removes everything kept in the app's storage, including your settings.
Sharing
A recording or screenshot leaves the app only when you tap Share and pick where to send it. From that point the privacy policy of the app or service you chose applies.
What Ends Up in a Recording
A screen recording captures everything shown on your screen, including notifications, messages and passwords that are visible while recording.
You are responsible for what you record and share. Please make sure you have the right to record the content and the people in it.
Children's Privacy
ScreenRec Pro does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and in the app with a new "Last updated" date.
